Dan made his long-awaited LEG debut in the 2017 Postseason Tournament. Dan’s confidence was shaky because of the intimidation he felt from the rest of the players in the league. He wasn’t sure he would measure up, but he played very well helping “Dirty Butt” (partnered with Bushie) to a 3-3 record in the tournament and a quarterfinal appearance.

After tasting the thrill of a LEG tournament, Dan was hooked and hungry to win a championship. He played and practiced during the summer at his cottage, and returned as a totally different player at the 2021 Preseason Kick-Off Tournament. He partnered with Brendan, finishing in third place that tournament, and was voted as the tournament MVP—proving that he’s no longer just “happy to be here”—he’s here to claim The Cup.

Since then, he has become a fixture of excellence with three All-Tournament Team selections (details below). After a heartbreaking runner-up finish in the 2022 Postseason tournament, Dan finally reached the summit at the 2023 Preseason Kick-Off, officially claiming The Cup.

Dan’s resume is impressive, particularly for a guy who only plays a few times per season in the tournaments. Yet, Dan’s intangibles differentiate him from the other players – he exudes endless positive energy and always encourages his partner, while holding his own on the scoreboard. And, is there a cuter kid than Dan rocking the gangsta gray overalls and striped t-shirt? Who WOULDN’T want that on their squad?
