2017 was Marco’s debut campaign in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. He was one of the top rookies in the league during 2017, rivaling JV for strongest rookie performance.

Marco is Coach Mike’s nephew, from Marco’s very first match, it was clear he possessed the same killer instinct pumping through his veins.

Marco’s overall record was rather pedestrian (6-8 overall), but he posted an impressive 9.2 KPM on the season and was also one of only three players who recorded a perfect 12 point round by holing all four throws.

Marco rode positive momentum into the 2017 Postseason Championship, but couldn’t find the same level of performance during the tournament. He partnered with Pierson Heythaler (another 2017 LEG rookie) to form “Golden Taints,” and they played fairly well during the round-robin period, earning the #5 seed. However, the pressure of their first LEG tournament caught up with them during elimination play as they went 0-3 and were quickly eliminated.
