2017 was JV’s debut campaign in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. JV would have been a strong contender for Rookie of the Year…if it existed.

In the 2017 Preseason Kick-Off Tournament as part of “Team Fuck Paul,” JV partnered with Mario Black and truly sucked. But, “Team Fuck Paul” might have drank the most combined booze, with JV pulling down close to 20 Labatt Lights.

During 2017 All-Star Weekend, JV flashed his all-around game by winning the 2017 LEG All-Star Weekend MVP.

In the 2017 Postseason Championship, he teamed with Tony D’Ambrosi on “Sausage Factory” to make a run all the way to the semifinals as the #4 seed before ultimately losing to #1 seed “Jesse and the Rippers”. He did so all while pounding 22 Labatt Lights, as evidenced in his bio picture (he was 18 deep at that point).

JV was victim of a bun run in week 9 of the 2017 campaign, becoming the first LEG player to complete an actual bun run. Much respect earned with that.

Most impressively, JV also shit his pants in week 6 trying to fart during Paul Teich’s back swing. Being such a classy guy, JV stripped his shitty drawers off and threw them over the fence into Bushie’s neighbor’s yard and continued with the match. JV is primed for a huge 2018 season, but hopefully his off the field antics take a few steps back.
