Joe (a.k.a. “Joe V.,” “Joey Buckets,” and “JoeMafia”) returned for the 2017 season after an up and down 2016. Although he was limited in the number of appearances in 2017 (only 21 total matches), he improved his game compared to his inaugural year.

Joe loves to intimidate and frustrate his opponents with his rapid-fire throwing style. Joe barely lets the bag leave his opponent’s hand before he’s firing his bag. This often gets under his opponent’s skin, but any time they complain Joe is there to remind them of his Italian heritage and the family flower shop he owns. This usually calms the situation, and to date we haven’t had any LEG members come up missing.

Joe is one of the most beloved players in the league, which is probably actually just because all the LEG members fear having cinder blocks strapped to their ankles and being thrown in Lake St. Clair. Nonetheless, it’s always a great night when JoeMafia graces us with his presence.

Despite being with LEG since inception, Joe still has not participated in any of the LEG tournaments. Will 2018 be the year Joe finally shows what he’s made of in a tournament setting?
