Erik’s growth from his league debut until now makes him arguably the most improved player in the league. He started by scoring only 43% of the time with a 7.3 KPM, and now finds himself as one of the top-5 most accurate throwers (72% in 2021) while his KPM is north of 13.0.

Erik finished as runner-up in the 2020 and 2021 Preseason Kick-Off Tournaments, and earned a spot on both of those All-Tournament Teams, including being voted MVP of the 2021 Preseason Kick-Off.

The lefty with a long, smooth stroke transformed his game to the point where he’s now a legitimate contender in every tournament as he continues climbing the Power Rankings…all of which are a far cry from his rookie season when he played so poorly that Coach Mike named him “Sam” and said he wouldn’t call him “Erik” until he played well enough to earn his name back.
